Major steelwork repairs can include new bottoms, footings, uxter plates, counters, hull sides, and cabins.

We will not however add extension cabins to historic boats.If you need more room, please have a new boat built.

Ouch!!

New bottoms can be done either in steel (10 or 12 mm), or 3 inch thick OPEPE wood. On historic working boats over plating is best removed and new steel let into any thin parts found.

Should the worst happen, for example a broken crank on a Lister JP2, we can source new parts, and rebuild engines.

We can also supply new prop shafts, install old or new engines, supply new tailshafts and propellors. We make traditional chimneys and fit stoves.
